New stuff, finally
|
 I'm sorry for a lack of updates this last month. I've been quite busy, and tired. And when I've been tired my mind has simply been too blank to do anything useful, sorry. :P
But I've gotten the Calendar wallpapers up, along with another wallpaper, Final Fantasy X-2 wallpaper that is. Not that good, but I figured I'd put it up as something, lol. Also got up two more avatars, also from FFX-2. Paine and Rikku. As well as another AMV that I made a while back, called Cherish and with FFX/X-2 clips in it.
Our staffers are pretty unavailable these days, which also causes a lack of updates. Viljevanilje has moved to a place that does not have internet yet, while Sakura is pretty much caught up in her own things. If you want to keep in contact with her, you have to head over to her DeviantArt account, that is, cause DA is her place to be these days. :P She informed me that she has given up on Land of Simplicity, but if she's given up as staffer here, I figured I shouldn't push her by asking. Hopefully she'll return some day, ne. :P
Until they both do I guess I'll do all the news, when I have the time. xD
So, both Land of Simplicity and Myffnet (since it's closed) shall be removed from our affiliation side, whenever I have the time to do so. Golden Ocarina is therefor open to join any Network, by the way, in case someone would like that :P though it depends what kind of network it is, of course. xD |

C.Wallpaper and avatars

I kinda fail at this Calendar Wallpaper thing, I know, sorry. xD eh. Well, April came a bit sudden on me, so I didn't realize the month had changed before...5th April or something :P and I had no inspiration right then...bad me, I know. lol
Anyway, an April wallpaper with Lenneth from Valkyrie Profile is now up, but one for Jrock? Gah, I still need to finish that one...xD
Also added two avatars featuring Yuna, they're very alike, but when I made them I couldn't decide which was better, so you get both xD.
We're getting quite bombed with spam in the comments on the updates lately...I'm sorry about that. I keep deleting them when I can. If it keeps up with that much I guess we'll have to do something about it. But last time it kinda calmed down after a while, it was just I who was so stupid as to turning off the comments for a bit, and when I turned it back on, spam returned. So...we'll see. xD |

DMC4 information and an AMV

Oh my God. Heh, well in the work of getting up Genis' AMV to the site, I suddenly remembered the information on Devil May Cry 4 that FallenKnight gave me long time ago! And I feel terrible about forgetting such a thing! xD FallenKnight, will you ever be able to forgive me? :P
So then, FallenKnight has once again been a really nice person to write more gaming information for us, this time about Devil May Cry 4! Yay~ Thank you once again~
And also, as mentioned, Genis has submitted an AMV to us. Thanks Genis~! It is an AMV with Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children clips to a song by the Foo Fighters, and he really hopes for some comments on what you guys think about it, so go watch it and comment ne~

We are actually still on hiatus, kinda, but I am taking some time writing down some of the gaming news I realized our site was lacking. :P it's probably not all, but I did alot of research to get this, so I hope it's most of it. xD
SQUARE ENIX NEWS
There is to be released a Valkyrie Profile game for Nintendo DS. This game is called Valkyrie Profile: the Accused One, and in this game you are playing as a silver haired man who are against the Valkyries from past experience. He is using a feather he has recieved from the underworld to fight against them, and each time he uses it, it turns darker.
Characters from previous VP games will reappear, one of them, who has appeared on the game's scans so far, is Lenneth.

As you see when you go there, there is a chance to pre-order the game that is said to be released in europe 30th July with an including high quality slip case and an art book for the game, this is a special edition pack that won't be sold in the stores when the game is released, so hurry. ;)
It's been announced that there will be more of the Crystal Chronicles series, this being Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King. This is a game that will be released for the Wii. A game much alike the very first FFCC game, just with a little more touch of fancy, if I got it right ;P. The game takes place after the original FFCC, at least.
A release date for this game is yet to be announced.
Another Final Fantasy game, similar to Final Fantasy: Tactics Advance, will be released in North America 24th June. The game's name is Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift, and is about a guy, Luso Clemens, finding a mysterious book warping him to the world of Ivalice, right into a battlefield. He joins Cid and his clan on a journey to find his way back home.
- Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fate was released in europe this wednesday.
- Final Fantasy I and II for PSP was released in europe around a month ago, for those who haven't noticed. xD
- Only 3 days left to wait for you americans to get your hands on Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core~
NAMCO NEWS
It is said that in the game Sould Calibur IV, characters from Star Wars is gonna appear. The Sith Lord Darth Vader will appear as a guest character in the Playstation3 version, while Jedi Master Yoda will be available for the Xbox 360 version.
Names and age of the main characters in Tales of Vesperia revealed: Yuri Rowel, age 21. And Estelle/Esther (Full Name: Estellieze), age 18.
In the world in Tales of Vesperia, all cities are protected by some sort of rings that makes enemies not entering, therefor barely any leave the town they were born in. But those rings are breaking down, which is causing more monsters to be born.
The main character, Yuri, becomes envious of one named Flynn, who decides to leave the city. So Yuri decides to do the same...

NINTENDO NEWS
AS WE ALL KNOW. Super Smash Bros Brawl was just recently released in the US. xD and it obviously has become a hit at once. It has broken America's sale records, as it's been sold over 1.400.000 copies of it since it's release, 9th March. Though europeans will have to wait until 6th June, I believe? That is what I heard. lol

--Hiatus like thing--

Just wanted to tell you all. Well everyone of us working at GO is kinda busy by different reasons nowadays, so there'll most likely not be much updates nowadays. Viljevanilje has no internet so she's is the one mostly excused. Sakura, uh, well go at our forum and you'll know why with her, I guess ;) and me and Nira, we're both kinda busy with school. And the first part of Spring Break me, Nira and vilje will be in germany, next week after that me and Nira will be in denmark for 3 days, and such..yeah. It's all mentioned in the forum.
